Company Profile


Eplehuset AS started up in 2002 and is the leading re-seller of Mac in Norway. They will open their 13th re-seller store in August 2008. Eplehuset’s stores are stuffed with Mac computers and accessories, the staff is immensely competent with a great knowledge of Mac. Thanks to the innovative products, the available stores, the pleasant atmosphere and the proficient staff, Eplehuset is now in possession of a strong brand. Today, Eplehuset employs around 50 people and the turnover is 18 million EUR.

Present situation


When Eplehuset opened up their first store, they were in need of an integrated system with multiple functionality that could be used for the retail in the store as well as being able to handle the company’s Warehouse stock and Logistics. Furthermore, they were in need of a system they could connect to their WAN (Wide Area Network). Since the whole business is based on Apple products, they obviously demanded a system compatible with the Mac platform.

Choice of ERP

During a period of 6 years, Eplehuset AS has grown from a number of 2 till 50 users and they have experienced an incredible increase of their turnover, from 4 to 18 million EUR. Despite the heavy expansion the company has been able to perform as usual, thanks to HansaWorld Enterprise. The only manual labour required from Eplehuset AS has been adding more users and new modules as their needs have been accrued. Future


In the next stage in the development of HansaWorld Enterprise, Eplehuset AS are looking for a possibility to handle their invoices electronically. An electronic management would facilitate and decrease the amount of circulating documents.
